JavaScript: Clock Image

About

This was the first script I ever made. It takes the date information from your computer, and converts it into a series of images, to look like a digital clock. Only small snippets of this script were taken from Professional Javascript for Web Developers a book I bought to learn JavaScript. The rest is my creation.

Work in Progress

There is a slim possibility that I will make different image sets for the clock, ie red digits, different layout and colors, and the like. Of course, that's effort I'm not particular interested in doing, but if people want it...

Update: I recently discovered that for some reason, this does not work in IE6. I'm not quite sure why, but I'll play with it, and see if I can get it to work. Untill then, I know the script works with DOM complient browsers, so take this opportunity to download Firefox!

Usage

The script, images, and all associated files are ©Michael Diamond 2005. However I have released a .zip archive for external use. The script, the HTML, the images, and a readme are included. This archive is intended only for private, not-for-profit use. If you wish to use this script in any other manner, please contact me. I don't plan on charging for this script, but I would like to be notified. Also realise that the images are 1/4th the size you see here, they are scaled up on this page to display more prominently. In actuality, the clock is perfect for a sidebar or small segment of any page.
